I’m so sorry for the lack of postings and my blog being so, well, boring lately.
I’ve been extremely bombarded with both work and school every day lately, and it seems as if I hardly have a minute to myself anymore without rushing to be somewhere else, or I’m so damn tired I can hardly stay awake to find entertainment on the internet anymore.
Nevertheless, things are going well. I’m making thick, fat paychecks every two weeks without any huge expenses right now except upcoming car insurances payments and occasional cosmetics and groceries, so I’ve been trying my hardest to enjoy not worrying about a 4$ cup of coffee and trying my hardest to keep time for my mom, babe, and few and I mean very few, close friends.
School’s also started, and so my dream has officially begun. Come August/September of 2013 I will be a licensed cosmetologist and will have graduated from The System, A Paul Mitchell Partner School and will be on my way to getting my name out there and hopefully working for/representing MAC or another high end cosmetic brand. I just really want to travel and show people my talent and creativity.
In other news, tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and it’s getting even closer to a year and a half with Jarek. I cannot believe things are finally where they’re really supposed to be, for the both of us. We’re both right in sync this time around, and nothing is going to bring us down. However, school still runs from 5-10pm for me, even though work was nice enough to give me the day off along with him, so our evening plans will have to be postponed until Saturday night where I’ll be enjoying fondue at Fedora Social House downtown, and celebrating all the good times him and I have had lately.
I also just saw the first 2 Star Wars movies, ever, because I was a deprived child.
Kidding.
But really, I’ve never seen them until now. I really didn’t know what I was missing.
AND, my mama’s broken shoulder is finally healing and she should be back to work soon.
Life is great. My friends are great. My family is great. Love is great. I’m happy, and content.
